Try the transparent chat overlay for Chrome and Edge on desktop. Your buddy is AI.
- Unzip the download.
- Open
chrome://extensionsoredge://extensions. Turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the extracted herewhen-anime-buddy folder. - Refresh HereWhen. The button beside Watch Together will show Overlay installed ✓.
- Choose your buddy, start Watch Together, then open Crunchyroll or Netflix. Your chat connects automatically. Keep HereWhen open.
The automatic overlay is optional. Without it, Watch Together keeps its existing floating window. Keep HereWhen open. You can close its old pop-out. Drag the grip to move chat; use − to minimize or × to hide it.
Test build v0.3.3, not yet a Chrome Web Store release. If you installed an earlier test build, replace its extracted files with this download and press Reload on the extension. Some embedded or native full-screen players may hide the overlay; exit full screen if that happens. Protected video may prevent scene analysis. This extension does not bypass playback protection or copy login credentials.
